Meet the Artist Behind the Vision

Born in Uttar Pradesh in 1990, Manoj Kumar Sahu is a self-taught sculptor, mural artist, and installation artist with over 15 years of professional experience. His work explores form, texture, and materiality through fiberglass, wood, stone, metal, and mixed media. Today, he leads Saanvi – The Fusion Art Studio, creating bespoke sculptures, murals, and architectural art installations for luxury residences, hotels, museums, commercial spaces, and public environments.

From Passion to Professional Practice

The Journey Behind My Art

Born in Uttar Pradesh in 1990, my artistic journey began with a deep passion for sculpture and visual storytelling. Since 2010, I have dedicated myself to exploring form, texture, and material through continuous practice, exhibitions, workshops, and collaborations. Every project reflects a balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary artistic thinking, with the goal of creating meaningful works that become part of the spaces they inhabit.

ARTISTIC JOURNEY

Learning Through Mentorship & Practice

My professional journey was shaped through years of hands-on experience in sculpture casting, fabrication, and large-scale installations. Working across diverse materials has strengthened my understanding of form, structure, and craftsmanship.

For nearly ten years, I worked alongside renowned sculptor Mr. Siddharth O, mastering sculpture casting and fabrication techniques. My artistic perspective was further enriched through the mentorship of Mr. Ved Nayar and the late Gogi Saroj Pal, whose guidance continues to influence my creative practice.

CREATIVE PRACTICE

Working Across Diverse Materials

Every artwork begins with an understanding of the space, purpose, and material. My practice spans fiberglass, stone, wood, metal, concrete, and mixed media, allowing each project to be developed using the material best suited to its artistic and architectural context. Whether creating a public sculpture, architectural mural, or custom installation, I focus on craftsmanship, durability, and timeless design.
